Study #1 - Faith Trust In God
Faith is the exercise of trust in someone or something. Faith from a Biblical standpoint is the exercise of trust in God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. This pronouncement of someone in whom you trust is found explicitly in the Bible--The Holy Scriptures. Do you trust in God for your very existence, for your eternal life, for your salvation? If you do, you are exercising Faith. Faith is based upon the teachings of the Word of God: Christian Faith.
Read: II Corinthians 13:5 Examine Yourselves . . . Are you in the Faith? Faith is believing and receiving what God has revealed in His Word, the Bible.
Hebrews 11 Those who exercised faith in God.
