Demons
The Emissaries of Satan

    Satan may appear to be everywhere at one time but he is not God and does not possess God’s capabilities and attributes. But the devil does appear to be ubiquitous because of the vast host of unseen assistants that do his bidding and seem to be everywhere. Beelzebub is the chief of the devils. His numbers are legion and they represent a powerful host!

    Luke 11:15 Chief of devils or demons.

    Matthew 12:43,45 Demons are spirits.

    Mark 5:9 Demons are numerous.

    Mark 5:2-5,11-13 Demons are capable of entering and controlling both men and beasts.

    Matthew 8:28 Demons are unclean and violent.

    Matthew 8:29-32 Demons recognize Jesus as the most High God.

    James 2:19 Demons also believe.

    I Timothy 4:1-3 Demons are involved in influencing the departure from the faith.

    I Corinthians 10:19-21 All unbelievers are open to demon possession and influence.
